HP Hamper Offer - Terms and Conditions

Key Terms and Conditions

  1. HP customers can claim a Fortnum & Mason Christmas Hamper when they buy selected HP 'Qualifying Products' purchased between 25th November 2010 - 17th December 2010.
  2. Last claim date for delivery before Christmas is 17 December 2010, after which hampers will be delivered after Christmas. Closing date for all claims is 28 December 2010.
  3. Due to order processing, all claims must be made no sooner than 3 days from the date of order confirmation from HP Store.
  4. UK mainland consumers may claim one Hamper per order to a maximum of 5 claims per household throughout the promotional dates (1 hamper per qualifying product purchased).
  5. Adverse weather conditions could impact on delivery dates . HP and Opia are not responsible for delays due to adverse weather conditions
  6. Hampers are packed by Fortnum & Mason. HP and Opia are not responsible for any missing items or breakages
  7. To take advantage of the promotion visit www.hphamper.co.uk and fill out the online claim form and upload your HP Store invoice. Proof of order or despatch will not be accepted. The seller's invoice must clearly show the qualifying products purchased, the purchase price and the date of purchase. Your claim must be received before the 28th December 2010.
  8. In the event of non-availability of featured hamper, an alternative of equivalent value and quality will be sent.

Further Terms and Conditions

  1. The promotion is open to mainland residents of the UK only. This offer is not open to business customers, agents, wholesalers, resellers, retail staff, retailers or participating stockists of HP.
  2. The promotion is only valid for end user customers. Claims must be submitted by the end user customer only. Resellers may not submit claims on behalf of their customers. Any claims where a reseller or trader is suspected of claiming will be rejected.
  3. The promotion is valid in respect of qualifying products purchased from HP Store only - online or telephone purchases.
  4. Once the claim has been received, the participant will receive confirmation of receipt of the claim form by email from help@hphamper.co.uk stating whether or not the claim for a Hamper has been successful. It is the claimant's responsibility to contact the promotion team using the email address above within seven days of the submission of their claim if an email acknowledgement has not been received.
  5. Participants providing an incomplete claim form will be notified via email and offered the opportunity to provide the required items within seven days. If the participant still fails to comply with the terms and conditions, the claim for the Hamper will be refused.
  6. The hamper will be awarded to the individual stated as the purchaser on the proof of purchase invoice supplied. Hampers cannot be sent out to individuals except where the product has been purchased for personal use and the claimant's name and address appear as the purchaser on the proof of purchase invoice.
  7. Return of the qualifying HP product to HP Store following submission of the claim for the Hamper will disentitle the participant to the gift.
  8. The hamper will not be granted to the participant who: (a) has not purchased a qualifying HP product within the promotional period; and/or (b) has not correctly completed the claim form; and/or (c) has not supplied proof of purchase; and/or (d) has not submitted their claim form before 28th December 2010; and/or (e) failed in any way to comply with these terms and conditions.
  9. All instructions form part of these terms and conditions. The Hamper will only be sent upon satisfaction by the participant of these terms and conditions. By completing the claim process participants confirm their acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  10. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible claims. No responsibility will be accepted for submissions which have been lost, are late, damaged, misdirected, delayed in the post or insufficiently pre-stamped. The promoter strongly recommends the use of an insured postal delivery.
  11. HP is not responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website, or other failures or damage of any kind to the extent that this prevents the participant from or otherwise obstructs him/her in participating in the promotion.
  12. HP reserves the right to audit all requests to ensure that the terms and conditions of the promotion have been met and to request additional information regarding any and all claims and supporting documents.
  13. All documentation submitted for this promotion becomes property of HP and will not be returned. Submission of false, incorrect, misleading or fraudulent documentation may result in disqualification from this promotion and future HP promotions and may result in the submitter being subject to prosecution.
  14. HP may declare this promotion to be void where it is taxed, regulated, prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
  15. The decisions of HP in respect of any and all aspects of the promotion will be final and binding.
  16. HP reserves the right to amend or cancel the terms of this offer without notice.
  17. Valid claims received between 25th November 2010 and 17th December 2010 will be sent a Christmas hamper before Christmas day.
  18. Valid claims received between 18th December 2010 and 28th December 2010 will be sent a seasonal Hamper which will arrive after Christmas.
  19. Participants are solely responsible for any tax liability and any incidental expenses arising from the offer.
  20. This offer is governed by the laws of England and Wales
